Maya Archaeology
Twitter alerted me to a great blog today that summarized the archaeological findings of Maya in Blue creek area. I've always loved studying the Maya. Check it out; it has beautiful photos.

The Maya: Codex Dresdensis
I found this on AWOL:
I studied the culture and history of the Maya in elementary school, then again in middle school, and then again in high school. I taught myself their numeral system and wrote my first-ever term paper on the influences of astronomy ( through their calender system) on agricultural practices. I even tried to teach myself the glyphs from Reading the Maya Glyphs
. Classics eventually took over my interest, but I still find the history of the Maya fascinating, so I thought I would post this.
AWOL also linked to a Maya Glyph Blog that discussed the "classic Maya" language.
